Dear friends
Those who appeared in Dec 2007 for D.N.B. must be understanding the agony of result which has been declared today. First of all the papers were substandard. Then the result got delayed like anything keeping our fingers crossed. And now when it is out, it is forcing us to bite our nails leaving hardly any time to prepare for next attempt & make us feel what a grave mistake it is doing this so called D.N.B.(read as "Do Nothing But..............." OR "Do Not Bother"
It is time to wake up and it's our right to ask for transparency regarding the standard of exam and method of assessment.Board should declare the detail pattern of theory & practical exam, details of mark list & date of declaration of result in advance (Like F.R.C.R.- a worldwide recognized Examination). It should stick to it once it has decided it. Being an autonomous body does not mean that it can do anything at its will & make hundreds of budding aspirants to suffer.
Does setting unreasonably substandard theory papers & consistently declaring poor & untimely results make an autonomous body a standard board recognizable all over the world? I don't think anybody will agree with this. Instead, if it concentrate on the standards of academic programs library & journals provided by their affiliated institutes, it will definitely improve the quality by thousand folds.
I think we should take some step & collectively do something as we cannot spoil whole of our lives & get screwed for nothing.
